Lakeside Apartments is served by Princeton University waste services. The University is committed to reducing its total waste stream, and we are each responsible for our share of the waste reduction effort! You can find trash, recycling, and composting bins throughout the property:
- Green bins are for trash.
- Blue bins are for recycling.
- Brown bins are for composting.

What may I recycle in Lakeside bins?
- These Items are Recyclable.
- Boxes must be broken down.
- These Items Must Go in “Landfill” Bins.
Composting
- Do not use composting bags (also no “compostable” bags) and discard only food waste!
